New World

New World Order

T
he term “New world order” has been used to refer to any new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in the world political thought and the balance of power. Despite various interpretations of this term, it is primarily associated with the ideological notion of global governance only in the sense of new collective efforts to identify the world problems that go beyond the capacity of individual states to solve.

After the cold war era, many changes occurred on the global political scenario that characterized the new uni-polar world after the demise of USSR. The phrase “new world order” was explicitly used in connection with Woodrow Wilson’s design in the period just after the World War I. League of the nations was the product of this ideology. The term fell from use when it became clear that League was not living up to over optimistic expectations, and as a consequence was used very little during the formation of UN (United Nations).

United Nation was a projection of American dream into Europe and idea of new world order was used to further the interests of British and Americans.
After the cold war era, the new world order dealt with nuclear disarmament security arrangements. The present circumstances have refocused the term on the super power cooperation and regional crises.

In my opinion, in the present world, resources are running out. A state cannot depend upon its own resources for its survival. Globalization has linked the states in a way that any one of them cannot survive without the help of other powerful states exploit the resources of weaker states. Stats rich in energy resources sell this energy to other states. Despite the progress that the human has made, some of the characteristics are of Stone Age. We stile practice Barter system where states rich in agricultural products sell this product to other states, in return they got the resources which they need. In ancient times, powerful tribes used to protect the smaller. It is being practiced today. So, different states can progress by cooperation. For example, if we combine 10 families in a house, they will be able to overcome the difficulties faced by a single house.
I suggest that states would also tend to make blocks and alliancesin the new world order.

Unions

Unions and alliances had been made in the post on the basis of common religion, race and language. European Union, USSR, East Africa and West Africa etc. This old world order is in decline in my opinion.
USSR has already been demolished. Other big alliance is Europe, which is also declining due to Economic problems. The sole power USA also does not enjoy the power, which a state in unipolar world should enjoy because of certain crises in the USA. These unions were not made on the basis of justice rather; their main aim was to exploit the weaker nations. My system supports unions in a way that will help to construct a cooperative bilateral relationship, not a servant and master relationship.

If we implement this ideology, I see different unions in the new world order. Every state should be free to join union of its choice, which is compatible for it. Asian, especially South Asian countries should also form a union naming USSA (United States of South Asia) which will establish a powerful block in Asia and all the states would be able to progress. Money spent on arms would be diverted to the welfare of these countries. Pakistan and India, which would be two major characters in this union, should solve their bilateral issues.

In my opinion, proposed unions would be following:

1.     USSA (United States of South Asia)
2.     KASI Union
3.     Arabic Union
4.     European Union
5.     USSR
6.     East Africa
7.     West Africa
8.     South Africa
9.     USA
10. ULA (Union of Latin America)
11. UNA (Union of New Zealand and Australia)
Names could be changed but it is my own opinion.

BLOCKS:

The above discussion makes us believe that world would proceed and culminate into a global village governed by super natural institutions. European Union is the one example we have in front of us. Proposed unions would transform into blocks, which would work under borderless economy in which states would not be able to control their currency rates individually or protect their commodities.

Political leaders will find themselves at the mercy of the people and institutions making economic choices on which they do not have control. I perceive that regional trade groupings like the North American free Trade Agreement and ECJ as well as international trade agreements like the general agreement on trade and tariff and World Trade Organization as manifestations of a new global Village reflecting enormous and relatively recent historical transformations.

After the unions, next step would be the formation of Blocks. When resources would run out, unions would be transformed to blocks based on regional proximity.

It will be as follow:

ASIAN BLOCK

1.     KASI Union
2.     USSA (United States of South Asia)
3.     ARAB Union
4.     UAE
5.     Gulf
EUROPEAN BLOCKS

1.     European Union
2.     USSR and other East European countries

AFRICAN BLOCKS

1.     East Africa
2.     West Africa
3.     South Africa
4.     Other countries of the region

AMERICAN BLOCKS

1.     USA
2.     ULA (Unions of Latin America)
3.     Canada
NEW AUST BLOCK

1.     UNA (Union of New Zealand and Australia)
2.     Other countries in the region

In this way proposed fourteen unions would be divided into five blocks. Countries would benefit from each other in many ways.
Social democratic system proposed in the book would be perfect to govern these blocks. This system is still in its early stages. This ideology needs resources to be implemented.

Units

In the context of September 11 attacks, which are believed to be perpetuated by the Islamist extremists, has established an inevitable divide between Islam and the west. According to the Islamic and Christianity beliefs, emergence of Hazrat Imam Mehdi and Jesus Christ will happen which will divide the world in two units.

So theory of Clash of Civilizations becomes true. Some theorists consider that western liberalism will dominate in the world, which will evolve liberal democratic institutions. Resulting new world order will be characterized by the international cooperation and free market economy. But in my view, western values will not be accepted universally. Present resistance offered by certain bodies like Al-Qaida is the most visible example.

In the end, world would become bipolar. Two units would emerge. As history gives evidence, according to Islamic and Christian belief, emergence of Hazrat Imam Mehdi and Christ would happen. There would be two kinds of people in the world.

Ø  Followers
Ø  Liberals
UNIT 1                                               FOLLOWERS

1.     Muslim Countries
2.     China and Korean Peninsula
3.     South Asian Countries
4.     USSR
5.     African Countries
UNIT 2                                               LIBERALS

1.     USA
2.     Europe
3.     South America
4.     New Zealand
5.     Canada
This is not about the common people. Believers and non-believers exist in the world but their main aim should be establish a peaceful and war free world and humanity should be prioritized and dream of global village should be fulfilled.
